Sports Club Overview Autumn Term

Reception Sports Club

Multi-Sports Club-  Every Tuesday 3:15pm-4:30pm

 

The children will have the opportunity to develop their physical and mental skills through an element of fun filled activities.

The 5 targeted areas are;

1)      Physical Development

2)      Technical Development

3)      Tactical Development

4)      Mental Development

5)      Personal-Social Development

Multi-Sports Club - Every Tuesday 3:15pm-4:30pm

 

The children will have the opportunity to express their skills in a variety of individual and team games.

 

Some of these games include tennis, football, throwing and catching, climbing and fun filled circuit activities.

Year One Sports Club

The children will have the opportunity to develop their physicaol and mental skills through an element of fun filled activities.

Year Two Sports Club

Football- Every Thursday 3:15pm-4:30pm

 

The children will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football. Understanding the basic rules of the game and learn how the scoring system works. The children who are showing great progress will then have the opportunity to show their skills in an inter-school competition within the cluster of schools.

The children will have the opportunity to practice developing their football skills using a variety of techniques. The children will learn that working part of a team is pivotal in becoming successful.
