The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is funding provided to schools, which is additional to main school funding. Pupil Premium is designed to help each school boost the attainment of disadvantaged children and reduce the gap between the highest and lowest achievers. It is allocated according to the number of pupils on roll who are currently eligible to Free School Meals or were eligible in any of the previous six years (Ever 6 FSM). In additional, an allocation is made for each pupil who has been 'Looked After'(in care) for six months or more. Finally, a smaller amount of the grant is allocated to the number of children of Service Famillies (Ever 3 Service Child).
