Admissions

For details of school admissions please access the following web address:

www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions

We admit pupils in the Nursery from the age of three and in the Infants up to the age of seven.

If you would like your child to attend Wilkes Green Infant School, contact the school office for an application form.  Your child's name will be placed on the waiting list, and places mid year are allocated on a first come, first served basis, unless the Governing Body are asked by the local authority to give priority to another child.  We do not select on the basis of academic achievement, and are committed to following The Equality Act.

We are able to take 90 pupils in each year group, and are bound by the government legislation on Infant class sizes, limiting classes to 30 pupils.

In the Nursery we take 44 pupils in the morning and 44 pupils in the afternoon.
